Finally It Makes Sense

There is no doubt that even if you do not follow Boxing the average sports fan will recall Heavyweight Mike Tyson biting a chunk out of opponent World Champion Evander Holyfield’s ear in round two of their 1997 bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas.

At the time it was one of the most bizarre sporting moments ever witnessed. Many put the action down to Tyson’s frustration that he was being out-boxed by Holyfield.

It may now appear that there could well have been another reason.

Tyson has announced that he is now a vegetarian.

It is wondered whether he thought that Holyfield had a cauliflower ear, and the temptation was simply too much…
