The Real Karate Kid

India Roberts from Cornwall in the UK is one tough nut. The eleven year old won a gold medal at the World karate Championships in Germany in the under 12 Kata category, despite having a broken arm.

She took part against doctor’s orders to take out the Gold medal. Her achievement is even more amazing when you learn that she only took up the sport in February of this year, and has broken her arm three times in the past eight months.

She has apparently decided to leave Karate while at the top and switch martial arts to take up Taekwondo
